This 7U rack model is configured with a 2.0GHz Intel Xeon processor (upgradeable to four) a 1MB integrated L3 cache integrated dual-channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI controller and 1024MB PC100 ECC SDRAM (upgradeable to 16GB). Since there is no pre-installed hard drive you are free to configure storage to your needs. In addition to a 400MHz bus speed the ML 570 features a CD-ROM drive a 3.5 1.44MB floppy drive 12 hot-plug hard drive bays one 5.25 removeable media bay for tape or optical drives and seven PCI slots (four hot plug).
